A private journal should not require you to perform your inner life for an audience. Journal - From Me has no public profiles, community feed, follower count, engagement score, or advertising layer attached to your pages.
No separate app account required
You can begin writing without creating a Journal - From Me username or signing into a Clairos account. Your device remains the center of the experience.
Your pages stay with your devices
Journal entries, notes, and prompt responses are stored on your device. If you enable iCloud, Apple’s CloudKit infrastructure can keep your pages available across your Apple devices through your private iCloud account.
Prompts arrive; answers do not go back
The app requests guided content and Yesterday Through You prompt sets from the Clairos journal service. The service provides the prompt material. Your written response is not included in that prompt request.
Microphone access is optional
Journal - From Me requests microphone permission when you choose voice transcription. You can deny or revoke that permission in iPhone or iPad Settings and continue using handwriting, typing, prompts, and notes.
Purchases are handled by Apple
App Store downloads and in-app purchases are processed through Apple and StoreKit. Clairos does not receive or store your payment card details.
